MARCH 27, 2012 - Children four and under should move more, sit less and avoid screens
Canada’s first-ever Canadian Physical Activity Guideines for the Early Years (aged 0-4 years) and first-ever stand-alone Canadian Sedentary Behaviour Guidelines for the Early Years (aged 0-4 years) were released by the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology and ParticipACTION, with support from with support from the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario Research Institute, Healthy Active Living and Obesity Research Group (CHEO-HALO).

FEBRUARY 15, 2011 - The Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology has released the first systematic, evidence-based Canadian Sedentary Behaviour Guidelines for Children and Youth.
JANUARY 24, 2011 - The Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology released new Canadian Physical Activity Guidelines.
